An exploration of the cult of a poet, Baal, a drunk and a seducer, who lives and dies as an outcast, from Brecht's play.

Sinekatalog’s take

Volker Schlöndorff's TV film, with Rainer Werner Fassbinder in the title role, is raw, theatrical and a curiosity for Fassbinder fans.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
