Plot
An Irish rogue rises and falls in the eighteenth century.
Sinekatalog’s take
Kubrick's 18th-century picaresque follows an Irish rogue's rise and fall. The candlelit photography looks like moving paintings; the pace is deliberately slow and the tone ironic and melancholy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
