A shy British sound engineer, Gilderoy, travels to Italy to work on a violent giallo horror film in a Berberian studio, and, isolated, begins to lose his grip on reality, in a film where the film is never seen, only heard.
Sinekatalog’s take
A strange, hypnotic and clever homage to giallo and sound design.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
