Plot

A Canadian man hires an actress to pose as his fiancée.

Sinekatalog’s take

Deepa Mehta's romantic comedy has a Canadian-Indian man hiring an escort to pose as his fiancée, mixing Bollywood and Western styles. Breezy, colourful and light, with Lisa Ray, it is a pleasant if slight cross-cultural fling.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
