Plot
In the Depression-era American South, the young waitress Bonnie Parker meets the ex-convict Clyde Barrow, and the two begin a spree of bank robberies with a growing gang, which includes Clyde's brother and sister-in-law. They become folk heroes while the law closes in. Arthur Penn's 1967 film, with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, caused controversy for its mix of comedy and graphic violence, and helped begin the New Hollywood.
