Sinekatalog’s take
Jean Renoir's comedy has a bookseller rescuing a tramp who upends his bourgeois household. Michel Simon is wonderful, and the film's anarchic spirit and satire of respectability remain fresh and funny.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
