Plot
During a summer linguistics camp, a young assistant is confronted with the cynical compromises of an older professor.
Sinekatalog’s take
Krzysztof Zanussi's sharp comedy-drama sets a young linguist against a cynical older professor at a summer camp, in a study of compromise. Smart and dry, with strong acting, it is a classic of the Polish Cinema of Moral Anxiety.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
