Sinekatalog’s take
Bertrand Tavernier's black comedy has Philippe Noiret as a mocked police chief turning killer in colonial Africa. Dark and funny, with Isabelle Huppert, it is a shrewd, unsettling look at humiliation and power.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
