Sinekatalog’s take

Robert Siodmak's noir pits a cop against a gangster who grew up on his street. Victor Mature and Richard Conte are strong, and the film's New York locations and shadows build a taut, atmospheric crime drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
