Plot
An Italian husband tells a Russian stranger the story of how he fell in love with a Russian woman at a spa. After Chekhov.
Sinekatalog’s take
Nikita Mikhalkov's Chekhov-based romance has Marcello Mastroianni recounting a doomed love for a Russian woman. Mastroianni is rueful and charming in a lush, gently comic and melancholy tale of missed chances.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
