Plot

A war widow falls in love with her husband's friend, who tells her that her husband is dead, while he is not.

Sinekatalog’s take

Jack Conway's drama, with Greer Garson and Robert Mitchum, is a famously troubled production, credited to Conway after George Cukor and Mervyn LeRoy's work; it's soapy and mild.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
