Sinekatalog’s take

Yasujiro Ozu's silent crime melodrama, with Joan Crawford-like glamour, Kinuyo Tanaka and Sumiko Mizukubo, is stylish and Western-influenced, an early Ozu gangster film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
