Plot
An opera film of excess.
Sinekatalog’s take
Werner Schroeter's opera-film pours arias, melodrama and excess into a delirious tragedy of love, death and kitsch, with Magdalena Montezuma. Fevered and camp, it is an extravagant, dazzling and challenging underground classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
