Plot

A long take on the Greek myth.

Sinekatalog’s take

Miklós Jancsó's film retells the Greek myth in a dozen long takes, with Mari Töröcsik as Electra, in a Hungarian setting. Choreographed and ritual, it is a stunning, theatrical and formally audacious exercise in power and revolt.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
