Plot
A Mexican cartel boss pays a lawyer to arrange his gender transition and a new life, then comes back to look for his family. A musical.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Audiard's Spanish-language musical about a cartel boss's transition is audacious but uneven. Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón perform with conviction, though the film's tone and its portrayal of Mexico have drawn heavy criticism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
