Plot

A Tokyo company rents out stand-in relatives.

Sinekatalog’s take

Werner Herzog's drama-documentary follows a Tokyo agency renting actors to play relatives and friends. Strange, tender and ethically slippery, it is a quiet, curious look at loneliness and performed intimacy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
