Sinekatalog’s take

Stanley Kubrick's first feature is a stagey, philosophical war parable with soldiers stranded behind enemy lines. Amateurish and stilted, he later disowned it, but it hints at his visual precision.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
