Plot

In the Ukrainian village of Anatevka in 1905, the poor milkman Tevye struggles to keep his Jewish traditions alive while his three eldest daughters challenge them by choosing their own husbands. Then the Tsar's government begins to expel the Jews from their homes. Based on the Broadway musical, which was based on stories by Sholem Aleichem.
