Plot

Jo Stockton, a Greenwich Village bookshop clerk, is spotted by a fashion photographer and magazine editor for a Paris fashion shoot. She agrees only because it will let her meet a philosopher she admires. Fred Astaire, Audrey Hepburn and Kay Thompson star, with songs by George and Ira Gershwin.

Sinekatalog’s take

A cheerful, brilliantly coloured musical set in Paris, with Astaire and Hepburn at their most charming and Richard Avedon's photographic influence on the look. Thompson's 'Think Pink!' is a scene-stealer.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
