Sinekatalog’s take

Leo McCarey's gentle musical comedy has Bing Crosby as a young priest renewing an old parish. Sweet and sentimental, it swept the 1944 Oscars and its warm, easygoing charm remains appealing.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
