Plot

Goltzius and the Pelican Company: a troupe of actors present sex and violence in biblical tales to a Margrave in 1590.

Sinekatalog’s take

Peter Greenaway's film, with F. Murray Abraham and Ramsey Nasr, is lush, explicit and theatrical, a Dutch painterly spectacle.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
