Plot
A young white woman, Joey, brings home her fiancé, the distinguished black doctor John Prentice, to meet her liberal San Francisco parents and announces that they plan to marry within days. Her father, a newspaper publisher, and her mother, an art gallery owner, find that their own beliefs are tested. It was the last film of Spencer Tracy.
