Sinekatalog’s take
Preston Sturges's wartime satire has a discharged Marine mistaken for a hero in his hometown. Fast, funny and sharp about hero worship and politics, with Eddie Bracken superb, it is a classic comic gem.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
