Plot
An intellectual in Tehran struggles with his failing marriage, his dissertation and his sanity as his wife wants a divorce.
Sinekatalog’s take
Dariush Mehrjui's Iranian drama follows an intellectual unravelling as his marriage ends. Dreamlike and anguished, with Khosrow Shakibai superb, it is a celebrated, surreal portrait of modern Tehran and the mind.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
