Happy End

“Don't believe the title of this Michael Haneke film.”

Directed by Michael Haneke
Drama

Cast

Isabelle Huppert Jean-Louis Trintignant

Plot

A wealthy family in Calais.

Sinekatalog’s take

Michael Haneke's chilly satire of a wealthy Calais family is cold and deadpan. Isabelle Huppert and Jean-Louis Trintignant are fine, but the film feels like a minor, repetitive echo of his sharper work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
