Sinekatalog’s take

Aleksei German's black-and-white epic drops an Earth observer into a muddy, medieval-seeming planet. Immersive, filthy and relentless, finished after German's death, it is a massive, overwhelming vision.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
