Sinekatalog’s take
Halit Refiğ's drama is set in an Ottoman harem and explores the lives and rivalries of four women. Rich in period detail and ideas about tradition, it is a formal, thoughtful work from the 1960s.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
