Sinekatalog’s take
Frederick Wiseman's documentary spends weeks at New York's Metropolitan Hospital, watching emergency rooms, overworked staff and poor patients. Direct, unnerving and compassionate, it is a classic of observational filmmaking about institutions.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
