Sinekatalog’s take
Rainer Simon's drama follows an East German small-town mayor troubled by a note from a woman whose life he ruined. Kurt Böwe is excellent in a quiet, humane and quietly critical film that the Party banned for years.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
