Plot

A day in the work of a woodcutter in the Argentine pampas.

Sinekatalog’s take

Lisandro Alonso's debut follows a woodcutter through a single day of work and meals in the Argentine pampas, in long, quiet takes. Spare and unhurried, with a non-professional lead, it is a hypnotic portrait of solitude and labour.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
