Sinekatalog’s take

Robert Siodmak's noir follows a secretary hunting the one witness who can clear her boss of murder. Shadowy and stylish, with Ella Raines resourceful and a standout jazz-drum scene, it is a taut, atmospheric classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
