Plot

Astronaut George Taylor and his crew crash-land on a distant planet where intelligent apes rule and humans are mute animals kept in cages. Taylor is captured, and two sympathetic chimpanzee scientists, Cornelius and Zira, risk their own safety to help him learn where this world really is. Based on Pierre Boulle's novel.
