Plot

Britain's biggest pop singer, Steven Shorter, receives a manipulative image from the state and the church, in a near-future satire.

Sinekatalog’s take

Peter Watkins's mock-documentary, with Paul Jones and Jean Shrimpton, is chilling and prophetic, a cult 1960s satire on pop and power.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
