Sinekatalog’s take
Stanley Kwan's adaptation of Eileen Chang follows a man torn between two women, one a pure white rose, the other a passionate red. Joan Chen and Veronica Yip star in a stylish, elegant and sad 1930s Shanghai drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
