Sinekatalog’s take
Bertrand Tavernier's jazz drama follows a great American saxophonist in 1959 Paris, befriended by a devoted French fan. Dexter Gordon is magnificent, and the film's music and mood make a tender, authentic tribute.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
