Sinekatalog’s take
Howard Hawks's 1932 gangster film follows an Al Capone-like hoodlum in Chicago. Fast and violent for its time, with Paul Muni's brute energy, it caused censorship battles and shaped the genre.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
