Plot

Miles, a depressed English teacher and aspiring novelist, takes a week-long road trip through California's wine country with his friend Jack, an actor about to get married. Miles wants to taste wine and play golf, while Jack wants one last fling. They meet two women, Maya and Stephanie. Alexander Payne's 2004 film won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
