Plot
On the planet Spaceball, the dictator President Skroob has used up all the air and wants to steal the air from the planet Druidia. Lone Starr, a space-mercenary, and his half-man, half-dog partner Barf agree to rescue Princess Vespa from the villain Dark Helmet. A parody of Star Wars and other sci-fi films.
Sinekatalog’s take
A silly, quotable parody that hits more than it misses, with Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet and Brooks himself as both Skroob and Yogurt. It is fond of its targets, which keeps the jokes affectionate.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
