Sinekatalog’s take

Elia Kazan's 1920s teen melodrama is intense and tender, with Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty in his debut. Its portrayal of repression and heartbreak has real emotional force, anchored by Wood's performance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
