Sinekatalog’s take

Edgar G. Ulmer's poverty-row thriller, with Jimmy Lydon, Warren William and Sally Eilers, is a Hamlet-like B movie, dreamy and eerie.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
