Sinekatalog’s take

Arturo Ripstein's drama transposes Medea to Mexico City's slums, with a fortune-teller and a desperate mother. Arcelia Ramírez is fierce in a dark, stylised and powerful tragedy that suits the myth.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
