Sinekatalog’s take

William Wyler's chilling thriller has a lonely clerk kidnapping an art student. Terence Stamp is creepily calm, Samantha Eggar impressive, and the film is a tense, uncomfortable study of obsession.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
