Plot
The Little Tramp joins the Klondike gold rush and finds himself in a storm-battered cabin with a fugitive and a giant of a prospector. Starving, he boils and eats his own boot, and the hungry prospector sees him as a chicken. In a frontier town he falls for the dance hall girl Georgia. Famous scenes include the dance of the bread rolls and the cabin teetering over a cliff. Charlie Chaplin's 1925 comedy balances slapstick with pathos, and it is the film he said he most wanted to be remembered for.
Sinekatalog’s take
Chaplin's Tramp goes prospecting in the Klondike. The boot-eating dinner and the dancing bread rolls are among his best-loved gags, in a comedy with plenty of heart.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
