Plot
Benjamin Braddock, a recent college graduate, comes home to California aimless and disillusioned. He is seduced by an older friend of his parents, Mrs Robinson, and then falls in love with her daughter, Elaine. Mike Nichols's 1967 film, with Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and a soundtrack by Simon & Garfunkel, captured a generation's disaffection and won Nichols the Academy Award for Best Director.
Sinekatalog’s take
A rudderless college grad is seduced by an older woman and falls for her daughter. Mike Nichols's comedy, scored with Simon & Garfunkel, captured sixties alienation, and its ending is wonderfully ambiguous.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
