Sinekatalog’s take

Visconti's sumptuous epic follows a Sicilian prince as his class fades in the Risorgimento. Burt Lancaster is magnificent, and the 45-minute ballroom finale is a masterpiece of period filmmaking.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
