A domineering rancher in 1920s Montana torments his brother's new wife and her son.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jane Campion's slow, simmering western is about cruelty, repression and a quietly devastating twist. Cumberbatch is menacing, Kodi Smit-McPhee is unforgettable, and the Montana landscapes are gorgeous.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
