Sinekatalog’s take

Bernardo Bertolucci's adaptation of Paul Bowles follows Americans drifting to ruin in the Sahara. Gorgeous images and Ryuichi Sakamoto's score impress, though the film is languorous and emotionally distant.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
