Plot

A reclusive, severely obese English teacher tries to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter in the last days of his life.

Sinekatalog’s take

Darren Aronofsky's chamber drama about a reclusive teacher is claustrophobic and sorrowful. Brendan Fraser's performance is a deeply humane centre, even if the film pushes some of its melodrama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
