Sinekatalog’s take
Brillante Mendoza's drama follows an ageing midwife in the Sulu islands who arranges for her infertile husband to take a second wife. Nora Aunor is magnificent in a gentle, lyrical and moving film about love, culture and sacrifice.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
