Sinekatalog’s take

Tomas Alfredson's adaptation of John le Carré's novel, with Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy and Mark Strong, is a slow, grey and exact Cold War thriller about betrayal and bureaucracy. Its muted palette, patient pace and strong ensemble acting earned it several Oscar nominations, including one for Oldman.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
